VIVID SYDNEY AT THE ROYAL BOTANIC GARDEN SYDNEY RECOGNISED FOR EXCELLENCE

Vivid Sydney’s Garden of Light at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney has received an ‘Event of the Year’ accolade at the Parks & Leisure Australia Awards of Excellence.

Held annually, the Awards are a benchmark for exceptional greenspaces with judging based on innovation, creativity, sustainability and originality.

Garden of Light at Vivid Sydney 2016 was recognised for bringing the heritage botanic collection to life in new ways with 3D-mapped projections as part of the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney’s 200th birthday celebrations.

This year, Vivid Sydney’s bright lights will return to the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney with an expanded trail into the heart of the beautiful harbourside oasis.

Art, technology, flora and fauna will combine in a captivating showcase of light installations which also explore conservation issues around sustainability and the importance of protecting fragile ecosystems.
