Fantastic Japanese umbrella and light collaboration.

It is so good you will want to see it even in a queue!

100 authentic Japanese umbrellas line up in the old approach to the Oogamiyama shrine Okumiya.

Each piece of work is created by hand by a craftsman imagining the scenery of the Sanin, and they will light up the approach to the shrine.

Originally, tourists and residents of Daisen wrote appreciation and wishes on Japanese paper, making small lanterns with that washi.

Since several years ago, in addition to the lanterns, we also light up umbrellas.

2017 will be held for three days from 11th to 13th August.

From the "Daisen-ji Temple Sanmon (Temple gate) ~ Approach to the shrine ~ Daisen-ji Temple main hall" is charged. Admission fee: over 13 years (junior high school student) 300 yen(Includes 100 yen cash voucher that can be used at a stalls of festival)
