Ascott Thonglor Bangkok is an exciting new development of serviced apartments that was opened for the first time last year. It has 451 spacious apartments across 41 floors. Ultimate city living experiences combine the convenience of upscale living with social comforts.

Stepping into the 24-hour reception area I was immediately impressed with the stylish décor. Check-in went smoothly and I was soon on my way up one of the fast lifts to my apartment.

The Ascott Thonglor Bangkok offers a choice of Studio, One-Bedroom, Two-Bedroom, or Three-Bedroom apartments. I enjoyed my elegantly designed One-Bedroom Premier apartment that had a touch of comfort and convenience complemented by an impressive range of premium amenities.

I spent the days out-and-about exploring Bangkok. At the end of each day I returned to my luxurious  apartment and indulged in a well-deserved rest by enjoying all its amenities. The spacious 60sq m apartment had kitchen, dining, & lounge areas and a separate bedroom and separate bathroom. I enjoyed the views from the large windows in the living and sleeping areas, especially looking out at the lit up city at night.

The temperature in my apartment was just right as I could adjust the multi-split air-conditioning to suit my preference. I enjoyed the two smart flat screen TV's in the apartment, the free high-speed Wi-Fi and the home entertainment system with CD/ VCD / DVD player. There were 60 TV channels to choose from, including news, movies, entertainment, music, sport, children's and educational. The in-room electronic safe was good to store my passport. 

Ascott Thonglor Bangkok - bedroom, bathroom

The dining area had a dining table and 4 chairs, and the lounge area had a two-seat sofa to watch the TV. 

The bedroom had a very comfortable king-sized bed with its own TV to watch. The high quality bedding of crisp sheets, down feather comforters with duvet covers and down pillows provided a good nights sleep. 

The spacious en-suite bathroom came with twin vanity basins, walk-in shower, bathtub and toilet. There were lovely fluffy towels, hairdryer, slippers & a good range of Appelles toiletries.

The fully-equipped kitchen has hot plates, microwave with grill, toaster, full size refrigerator, pod coffee machine, kettle and tea & coffee supplies. Glassware, crockery, cutlery & utensils were provided in the kitchen cupboards. A clothes washing machine and dryer came in handy to wash my clothes.

Each evening I enjoyed the Residents' Lounge for a quite drink.

On-site facilities on the 11th floor include an expansive swimming pool, children's pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna room. There is a fully equipped gymnasium, and a children’s playroom.

The Ascott Thonglor Bangkok is the ideal choice for meetings, conferences and social events in the Thonglor-Sukhumvit business district with a selection of conference and meeting rooms. The versatile and inviting event spaces, equipped with audio-visual equipment, range from 26 sqm to 80 sqm and can accommodating up to 80 delegates.

Ascott Thonglor Bangkok offers easy access transport options. It is just a short walk to the BTS Skytrain Thong Lor station. For those driving, it is situated close to the city’s expressway network, giving these serviced apartments in Sukhumvit an unbeatable location. I made good use of the complimentary tuk-tuk service to the skytrain & shopping malls.
