Entries Soon to Open for 35th Gold Coast Airport Marathon

Entries are soon to open for the 35th annual Gold Coast Airport Marathon to be held from 6 - 7 July 2013. Regarded as one of Australia's premier sporting events, the Gold Coast Airport Marathon is set to attract more than 28,000 participants of all ages and abilities from Queensland, interstate and overseas. 

The event program will feature the full 42.195km Gold Coast Airport Marathon, ASICS Half Marathon, Southern Cross University 10km Run, Suncorp Bank 5.7km Challenge and Junior Dash 4km and 2km races which are renowned worldwide for being flat, fast and scenic. 

The Gold Coast Airport Marathon was recently awarded the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Road Race Bronze Label putting it in esteemed company around the world. Entries open Monday 18 March with the early bird fee closing on Wednesday 22 May. www.goldcoastmarathon.com.au
