Murrurundi Food & Wine Day

Meet a gastronomic triumvirate; writer and food media veteran, Sue Fairlie-Cuninghame, urbane and much travelled provedore, Simon Johnson and Colin Selwood, Chef at leading NSW country restaurant, Graze

Join this well-known trio for a day of discussion of food, wine, style and…art. A unique opportunity to learn from, question and even gossip with this highly experienced group - all major personalities within their fields.

Michael Reid, author and art dealer, will host the day at his gallery and beautiful gardens at Murrurundi. The gallery is nestled behind the forest, on Mayne Street Murrurundi, at the bridge on Cohen’s Gully. Drive around the corner into Boyd Street to enter the gallery.

  • 10.00am: coffee
  • 10.30am: Sue Fairlie-Cunninghame in conversation with Michael Reid on food and coffee: trends-past, present & future.
  • 11.30am: morning tea
  • 12.00 Noon: Colin Selwood: Cooking for one or one hundred - the philosophy & practice of good food.
  • 1.00pm Lunch: including Colin’s homemade venison terrine & other goodies.
  • 2.00pm: Simon Johnstone: Sticking to your guns - always look to quality in looking far & wide.

Following the Murrurundi Wine & Food day, the speakers will retire to Graze restaurant at the Willow Tree Inn at 7.30 pm for an intimate evening of good food, fun and flowing wine.
