Along
with Samoa's Faleolo International Airport, Aggie Grey's Lagoon Beach
Resort & Spa, Samoa will be the first in the world to turn off the
lights for EARTH HOUR 2013.
This Saturday, 23 March at
8.30pm, the candles will be lit and a special torch lighting ceremony
will be held along the lagoon's edge and around the resort's swimming
pool. Guests will be invited to dine by candle light whilst serenaded by
beautiful Samoan voices and acoustic musicians. There is also some fun
planned with candle light charades or one can simply, lie back, relax
and count the billions of stars in the Samoan sky.
"It is
very important to look after our planet" said Mr Fred Grey, the Managing
Director of the Aggie Grey Group. "But it's not just about this one
hour, it is about understanding that small changes in our everyday lives
can collectively make an impact."
