This year, the old favourite of beer and food matching will take place in the beautiful beer garden of the Criterion Hotel. With beer from Bargara Brewing Co and food matched by Bay Fusion Food Design, your tastebuds are sure to be singing after this one!

The history of Maryborough will be told in a way you’ve never seen it before, with pop-up characters from the colonial city’s past throughout the festival.Track down some of the most pivotal people in Maryborough’s foodie history to hear their fascinating stories including Edgar Thomas Aldridge, Thomas Braddock, Mina Rawson and Martin Greaghty.

Brie and camembert making workshops are also a tasty addition to this year’festival with award winning permaculture teacher Elisabeth Fekonia. Assist, sample and take home the recipes for these delicious cheeses!
Presented by Kingfisher Bay Resort is the Bush Tucker Talk and Taste where you’ll discover the delights of our native bush tucker. Rangers will explain a selection of food in their natural raw state and where they can be found. The chef will prepare the ingredients and allow guests to taste the native bush tucker.
‘Tipples and Tales’ is the newest experience in the old Bond Store… if walls could talk, the Bond Store would have plenty of tales to tell. The Gauger has a few tales to share with you over platters, ports, liqueurs and good company.
The Australian Meat Industry Council is holding a gourmet sausage competition that will exhibit local, independent butchers from the region. The competition includes 6 categories of sausages and 2 for burgers. Get amongst the competition to find the best burgers and sausages in the area!
There is plenty more on offer starting from 10am on Saturday June 3 in Queens Park and Portside precinct Maryborough. To get your tickets get them at the gate for $15.
