2013 is starting out as a year of really big changes here at IMAX in Darling Harbour, Sydney, Australia,
It all began with the closure of the Theatre for a technical upgrade in the projection booth earlier this month. They are looking forward to RE-OPENING ON MARCH 7 with an even bigger choice of movies to be scheduled throughout the year.
Feature film highlights will include Disney's 'Oz The Great and
Powerful 3D' (starts 7 March), 'Jack the Giant Slayer 3D' (21 March),
the IMAX 3D release of Speilberg's classic 'Jurassic Park' (4 April) and
the much anticipated 'Star Trek Into Darkness' (17 May), which has been
filmed with IMAX cameras and will screen in IMAX 3D. And there are two
spectacular IMAX documentaries also opening very soon, 'Titans of the
Ice Age 3D' (March 7) and 'Flight of the Butterflies 3D' (21 March).
