Can Tho: giving 400 spring gifts to small traders at Cai Rang Floating Market

On the morning of January 25, Mr. Duong Tan Hien, Permanent Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee directly handed out warm spring gifts to small traders of Cai Rang Floating Market (Can Tho City) - who has been contributing to preserving the unique culture of the western river gardens. This is also an annual activity of the leaders of Can Tho city every time Spring arrives.

The program is organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (permanent of the Steering Committee for Tourism Development of Can Tho City) in collaboration with the City Tourism Association, relevant departments and agencies and the People's Committee of Cai Rang District. held, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Tiger in 2022.

Here, the delegation gave 400 gifts, each worth 400,000 VND and cash to small business people buying and selling at Cai Rang Floating Market. Along with spring gifts of gratitude, the city's leaders also sent greetings, encouragements and best wishes for the spring to the families of small businesses on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Tiger in 2022.

The leader of Can Tho city wishes that people will continue to stick with Cai Rang Floating Market, contributing together with the city to preserve and promote the unique cultural characteristics of the Mekong Delta residents.

Cai Rang Floating Market is about 6 km from Ninh Kieu Wharf (Can Tho City). This is a place specializing in exchanging, buying and selling agricultural products, fruits, goods, food, eating on the river and is a famous tourist attraction of Can Tho city as well as the Mekong Delta region. Cai Rang floating market currently has about 250 to 400 small traders participating in trading, including many people from provinces in the region.
