We have loved welcoming back our Australia and USA guests since the opening of Fiji’s borders on 1st December 2021. And now from 14th March, fully vaccinated NZ citizens and residents can self-isolate upon their return to New Zealand. That means you can once again travel to our beloved Tanoa hotels in Fiji to see your family and friends and to enjoy Fiji!
We can’t wait to have you back and have been preparing for this for a while now! Our guests’ safety is important to us, so we have implemented many strategies to keep you safe.
All our staff are fully vaccinated!
Most of the staff have already received their boosters (all staff will receive their booster).
All our Fiji hotels are Care Fiji Commitment (CFC) certified hotels. CFC is a WHO-approved standard of best-practice health and safety measures for travel in a post-COVID world. The CFC also provides you with the reassurance that the only people you interact with in our hotels will be vaccinated. In recognition of the CFC, the World Travel and Tourism Council have declared Fiji as a ‘Safe Travels’ destination.
We are also excited about the announcements from the Fijian Government over the weekend! Even more reasons why Fiji should be one of your top travel destinations this year!
Effective 9 February, visitors from Travel Partner Countries over the age of 12 years, now have the option to use a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) within 24 hours of the flights scheduled departure as opposed to the more expensive PCR test, to enter Fiji. We hope New Zealand will become one of the travel partners soon!
