KAI Kinugawa (Kinugawa Onsen area, Tochigi Prefecture)

Kinugawa Onsen area was found back in the Edo period and it was one of the well-known hot springs, which were only accessible by daimyo (Japanese feudal lords) and monks of the Nikko Shrine. The hot springs of Kawaji were known to heal wounds whilst the hot springs of Kinugawa were known to heal burns. This gentle spring water is slightly alkaline and does not tire the body even after a long soak.
