It is the fourth year running that New Zealand has taken the bronze award in the Top Country category. In the 12 year history of the awards, New Zealand has proven to be a perennial favorite, with it consistently rated in the top three.
Air New Zealand jumped to second in the Top Airline category, which was partly attributed to the attention grabbing Hobbit themed in-flight video.
The Wanderlust Travel Awards are based on a vote by readers across a range of categories, with results based on satisfaction ratings rather than total votes.
