Brisbane's Emporium Hotel is officially the best in the country! At the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards in Hobart, this independently owned and operated shining star was awarded best of the best - taking the title of Best Luxury Accommodation in AUSTRALIA.
The Qantas Australian Tourism Awards are the tourism industry's premier awards program and most anticipated event, celebrating and recognising excellence. Finalists in this highly competitive and prestigious category included some of the most revered luxury accommodation providers in the world - Pinctada Cable Beach Resort and Spa in Broome, The Australasian Circa 1858 on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, Saffire Freycinet luxury lodge in Coles Bay Tasmania, Sheraton on the Park in Sydney, Hyatt Canberra and Crown Metropol in Melbourne.

The magnificent win comes on the back of a highly successful year for the hotel. Most recently, having celebrated officially achieving Silver Certification with EarthCheck, a badge that took more than three years to earn and positions the property as a leader in the unique worldwide group of sustainable tourism operators, who bear the internationally recognised EarthCheck Certification Standard.
