Now playing until 20 December 2026, SIX the Musical is an exciting choice for visitors planning a Sydney theatre getaway, a special night out or a memorable cultural experience.

Six Queens Take Centre Stage

Inspired by the six wives of Henry VIII, SIX the Musical transforms the stories of Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard and Catherine Parr into a high-energy contemporary pop concert.

SIX the Musical

Rather than allowing history to define them solely through their relationship with the infamous English king, the six queens step into the spotlight to tell their own stories. Each performer brings an individual personality, musical style and perspective to the stage, creating a lively celebration of female identity, independence and empowerment.

The result is a bold and entertaining production that combines historical inspiration with modern music, sharp humour and a powerful message about reclaiming one's own story.

An 80-Minute Musical Sensation

Running for approximately 80 minutes, SIX the Musical delivers a fast-paced theatrical experience packed with catchy songs, dazzling performances and vibrant pop-concert energy.

The production has earned enthusiastic responses from audiences and critics around the world. Described by The Scoop as an “unstoppable, crown-shattering triumph”, the show continues to attract attention for its distinctive combination of comedy, music and storytelling.

On The House has praised the production as “bold, funny, empowering and gloriously entertaining”, reflecting the appeal of a musical that brings history to life in an entirely different way.

With its contemporary soundtrack, striking costumes and dynamic choreography, SIX offers something different from a traditional historical musical. Its energetic format also makes it an appealing introduction to live theatre for audiences who enjoy modern pop music.
