2026 NSW Tourism Awards: Events Finalists Celebrating the Best of NSW

Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash
New South Wales is renowned for its diverse calendar of festivals, music events, cultural celebrations, food experiences and community gatherings, and the 2026 NSW Tourism Awards are showcasing some of the state’s leading events.

The Events category finalists represent destinations across NSW, from the outback and regional centres to Sydney, the North Coast and Southern NSW. Together, they demonstrate how events attract visitors, create memorable experiences and contribute to local economies.

Outback Events Take Centre Stage

The Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash is among the finalists, representing the Country and Outback region. Set against the spectacular landscapes surrounding Broken Hill, the event has become a major attraction for visitors seeking a combination of live music, camping and outback adventure.

Its finalist position highlights the growing importance of regional events in encouraging travellers to discover destinations well beyond NSW's major cities.

North Coast Celebrates Music, Food and Community

Casino Truck Show
The North Coast has a strong presence in the Events category, with Casino Truck Show, Groovin the Moo Lismore, Lismore City Council - Eat the Street, and The Hoey Moey, Park Beach Hotel Motel, Tidal Sounds Music Festival all named finalists.

These events demonstrate the variety of experiences available across the region, encompassing music, food, entertainment, motoring and community celebrations.
