Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the Act Belong Commit Avon Descent is Western Australia's own unique sporting event attracting competitors and spectators from across Australia and around the globe. Competitors pass through some of the State's most picturesque countryside as they take on the world's longest white water event over two days and 124 gruelling kilometres.

Nameless Jarndunmunha Festival

The week-long festival takes place in the Hamersley Ranges at the base of the Jarndunmunha Mountain. The event includes a cocktail party, exhibits, carnival, stalls, parades, fireworks, races, competitions, interactive activities and entertainment.
Morawa Art Show & Exhibition

The Wheatbelt farming town of Morawa is the ideal host for a week-long regional art exhibition, showcasing works from local, young and Indigenous artists. CinéfestOZ August 22 to 26
Each year CinéfestOZ brings new and exciting films to the screens, some of which might have never been shown before and showcases talent that might otherwise be hidden from the public gaze. All films shown have a French or Australian link, either by way of the filmmaker, production and direction involvement or scriptwriting. Chevron City to Surf for Activ is the largest community sporting event in Western Australia incorporating the marathon, half marathon, 12km run/walk and 4km run/walk/wheelchair. The course takes participants on a journey from the City of Perth to City Beach. Boasting Western Australia's largest field and Australia's richest prize pool, the City to Surf Marathon takes in some of Perth's most beautiful sights.
