Vancouver Canada Broadcast on Seven Network's The Amazing Race Australia

Averaging more than 1 million viewers per episode this series, the Seven Network's Amazing Race Australia has revealed its secret locations within Vancouver, as contestants raced their way through Canada's gateway city.

Teams first arrived in the Province of British Columbia at Vancouver's Stanley Park, welcomed by the Eagle Song First Nations group, before receiving their next clue from a First Nations Chief to make their way to the Vancouver Rowing Club and kayak across Coal Harbour to Harbour Green Park Dock.

At the dock a sailboat was moored with nautical flags that the teams had to use to decipher a phrase, which needed to be recited to the skipper. Once correct, the skipper gave them their next clue for a Detour choice of lumberjack challenges involving log-rolling and axe-throwing.

Next stop - Vancouver's Grouse Mountain Skyride, where one person per team had to climb on top of the moving Skyride to grab three race flags to receive their next clue, before racing to Portside Park as their final pit stop location in Vancouver, British Columbia.

One team even received a glimpse of Vancouver's artistic side, as they posed for a drawing class in order to win the Race's only Fast Forward Challenge.

The Amazing Race Australia, visited British Columbia, Canada in a joint venture between the Seven Network, Canadian Tourism Commission, Tourism British Columbia and Tourism Vancouver.

In the next episode teams will race to Banff National Park in the Province of Alberta. More details will be revealed when Episode 10 goes to air on Seven after the Olympics.
