The 2012 Sydney Carnival will be officially named “The BMW Sydney Carnival” with BMW Australia and the Carnival’s stakeholders – Australian Turf Club (ATC), Racing NSW and Destination NSW – announcing a new sponsorship with BMW Australia last week.
ATC Chief Executive Darren Pearce said the partnership signals the strength of the ATC and reinforces market confidence in the vision for Sydney racing.
“The vision is to establish Sydney Carnival as a world-class racing carnival that enjoys global recognition and we’re thrilled to align our business with such a prestigious global brand.”
