The Mayor of Muswellbrook, Martin Rush invites you to attend the 2012 Upper Hunter Women in Local Government Forum. Muswellbrook is in the Upper Hunter region of N.S.W. Australia.
Women are increasingly taking leadership roles in local government, across both the elected and executive branches. With local government elections in September 2012, the Upper Hunter Women in Local Government Forum will encourage greater participation and promote the role of women, in the third tier of government.
Speakers include Cr Lee Watts, Mayor of Upper Hunter Shire, and Lindy Hyam, General Manager of Singleton Council. Residents and local organisations are cordially invited to attend this free community forum.
