Artists from Katoomba to Belfast are now creating unique works that
will be displayed within the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area
for its inaugural "Sculpture at Scenic World" exhibition. Transforming the iconic Scenic
World site are 26 established and emerging artists with one entrant to claim
the first of the annual $20,000 Scenic World Acquisitive Award and Keith Rowe
trophy.

Sculptures displayed in the Jurassic
Valley, have been selected by
prominent judges, Macquarie University Sculpture Park Curator, Leonard
Janiszewski, and University
of Western Sydney Collection Curator,
Monica McMahon.
The sculptures were newly created for this exhibition and
cross genres and mediums, delivered in diverse dimensions, and provide
thought-provoking narratives.

The Exhibition can be experienced on guided and independent
tours, with opportunities to attend lectures and meet the makers at
artist talks. Visiting the Exhibition will be free with any Valley ticket
purchase.

EXHIBITION HIGHLIGHTS
Sculpture at Scenic World |
- An estimated 60,000 international and national visitors
will view Sculpture at Scenic World.
- Artists displaying their works and will vie for a $20,000
Scenic World Acquisitive Award.
- Award trophies designed by internationally acclaimed,
local glass artist Keith Rowe.
Sculptures will be stored for up to four months to encourage
exhibition sales.
