AIR INDIA UNVEILS DIRECT MUMBAI-MELBOURNE FLIGHTS

Air India has announced its groundbreaking move to launch non-stop flights between Mumbai and Melbourne that commenced on December 15. 

This strategic expansion of the airline’s global route network will see three weekly services on the Mumbai-Melbourne route, establishing Air India as the sole non-stop operator between these two cities. 

Anticipated to bring nearly 40,000 additional seats annually to Victoria, Australia, where the Indian community exceeds 200,000, constituting 40% of the nation’s Indian diaspora, these new services aim to address the escalating demand for travel.

The focus is on accommodating visits to friends and family and catering to the growing needs of business and leisure travel in the region.
