Stroll among 1,000 fully bloomed cherry trees on the top of a mountain!

Mt. Shiude

Located on the Shonai Peninsula in Kagawa Prefecture, Mt. Shiude stands at an altitude of 352 metres above sea level!

Known for its beautiful cherry blossoms, Mt. Shiude's sakura season is usually from late March till mid-April each year.

During this period, the mountaintop is painted a pale pink and the contrast against the blue sea is breathtaking.

At such a high altitude, besides the cherry blossoms, visitors can also view the boundless Seto Inland Sea and the surrounding islands from the observation deck!
