Performers, presenters and red carpet hosts announced for 2024 Toyota Golden Guitar Awards

Heading up a star-studded lineup of performers are all the top nominees including Australian country music favourites Felicity Urquhart and Josh Cunningham with their track Size Up, triple Male Artist of the Year Travis Collins with his song Raise Me, multi-Golden Guitar and ARIA award winners 

The Wolfe Brothers who’ll perform Livin’ the Dream, as well as 2023 New Talent of the Year James Johnston, who’ll be taking to the stage with 2024 Golden Guitar nominees Zac & George to sing their track Some Things Never Change.

The top Golden Guitar winners of 2023, Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley, will sing their track Country Music, You & Beer, eight-time Golden Guitar and ARIA winner Fanny Lumsden will perform Ugly Flowers and Australia’s most decorated country music artist, Troy Cassar-Daley will create a special moment when he performs a new song for the first time, while multi-award-winning artist Luke O’Shea will sing his song that pays tribute to the late, Joy McKean, recipient of the first Golden Guitar in 1973. 2023 Golden Guitar Award nominee and 2022 Toyota Star Maker Max Jackson, Australia’s most recorded singer-songwriter Allan Caswell, SToReR, and newly formed duo, The Pleasures, will all take to the stage to perform their nominated songs.

For more than half a century, the Golden Guitar Awards has been a celebration of the very best in Australasian country music released over the course of the previous 12 months.

Toyota 52nd Golden Guitar Awards, Executive Producer, Peter Ross, is thrilled to announce the inclusion of a diverse and talented lineup of performers and presenters for the 2024 edition.

“For over 50 years, the Golden Guitar Awards has honoured the finest in Australasian country music,” says Mr Ross.

“We look forward to the awards each year as an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past 12 months and look ahead to the exciting opportunities, and emerging talent that await us in the coming year.”

The coveted Roll of Renown, country music’s Hall of Fame, will also be announced and presented on the night by Toyota Star Maker Coordinator and Managing Editor of Tamworth Country Music Capital News Cheryl Brown, alongside Americana artist Lachlan Bryan. The Roll of Renown is one of the most prestigious awards in the Australasian country music industry and recognises and salutes those artists who have made a lasting and significant contribution to the industry.

An incredible line up of artists will present at the Toyota 52nd Country Music Awards, including 11-time Golden Guitar winner Beccy Cole, Australian icons John Williamson and Troy Cassar-Daley, as well as previous Roll of Renown inductee Anne Kirkpatrick, eight-time Golden Guitar winner Adam Harvey, and multi award-winning artists Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley, Amber Lawrence, Sara Storer, James Johnston, Kaylee Bell, Henry Wagons, Kristy Cox and Pete Denahy.

Special guests The Hon. Mr John Graham, MLC, Minister for the Arts, Music and Tourism and ARIA Hall of Fame inductee and radio host Ray Hadley will also present awards.

Singer-songwriter, television presenter and host Sam McClymont will host the Toyota 52nd Golden Guitar Awards Red Carpet, and also present two awards with multi award-winning artist Graeme Connors.

“Saturday night is poised to be an incredible event, highlighting the vibrance and diversity of talent within the Australasian country music industry,” said Mr Ross.

Tamworth Regional Council will present the Toyota 52nd Golden Guitar Awards live on Saturday, 27 January 2024, from Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre. The Awards will also be livestreamed via the Festival website and Facebook page.

The Golden Guitar Awards are the nation's longest-running music awards and play a vital role in developing, promoting, and celebrating Australasian country music talent.
