1) Outfit:
For the girls:You gotta get with the theme! It's time to bust out the cute red or pink tops or pants and incorporate them with lace and bows. Coquette and Valentine's Day is a match made in heaven. Don't forget to accessories with love heart earrings or angel wings to give it that cool and out of the box V-Day feel that your partner will appreciate. Another cute accessory to add is a Nikon Z fc in Coral Pink!
For the boys:
For the boys:
Take a selfie with a bunch of flowers you plan to give your loved one. Make them chic and make sure they have an editorial vibe - feel free to dress up (but not too cheesy) - try neutrals like a linen suit. You can gift the flowers later! Red roses are a classic but if you want to do something different try a bunch of baby's breath. She will cherish and share the photo everywhere (guaranteed).
2. Set up your camera on a tripod:
Gone are the days of taking a selfie with a giant arm in the photo. Nothing screams effort more than a perfectly set up tripod shot. Take it in the studio or hang a sheet in your lounge room to give it a sultry feel. You'll certainly come out on top with some authentic self-timer images.
3. Play with light!
Depending on yours/your partners personal styles and preferences, experiment with lighting. If you both love light, bright and airy, utilise the outdoors or try to get some shots on the beach or amongst nature if that's your thing. If you prefer vampiric and dark why not have moody or red lighting with candles? The possibilities are endless with lighting but it can really bring to life the aesthetic, not only of your personal style but your partners as well. This won't go unnoticed and with the amount of effort I'm sure the image will end up framed on the bedside table as a reminder of how loved you are.
