Traditional Lion Dance

Sydney Opera House looks forward to welcoming you as you come to celebrate the Lunar New Year with us at  this February.

There are many amazing experiences at Sydney Opera House for guests to see and enjoy over this period including; a guided tour of the Opera House, Gatsby at The Green Light, dining at one of our restaurants and bars, watching the traditional lion dance, visiting our retail shop for exclusive gifts for their friends or family, or seeing an Opera.

Traditional Lion Dance

The traditional lion dance will perform at House Canteen for 2 days, Friday 9 Feb & Saturday 10 Feb 2024, starting at 2pm for 1 hour.

The performance will roam throughout the venue including the lower concourse and seawall.
