Aloha! Your Hawai'i Insights Await Here

New Inspiring Video Series
In a recent address, Governor Josh Green, M.D. announced the full reopening of West Maui communities, including Kā‘anapali, Nāpili, Honokōwai, and Kapalua, on Sunday, 8 October, marking two months since the devastating wildfires on 8 August.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to travel to Maui and support local businesses, as all previous travel restrictions for these communities will be lifted on that date.

While West Maui reopens, Lahaina will remain closed to the public for ongoing response and cleanup efforts.

Daniel Nāho‘opi‘i, Chief Administrative Officer of the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority, urged global support for Maui's recovery by booking trips, making reservations, and patronising local businesses that support workers and their families.

New Inspiring Video Series

We're excited to present "Mālama Adventures: Journey with Aloha," an inspiring video series featuring First Nations model and activist Samantha Harris. Produced by Vocal, the series explores the deep connections between Hawaiians, their sacred land, and the surrounding ocean, promoting Hawai'i's unique culture and heritage while encouraging responsible tourism.

This initiative builds on Hawai'i Tourism Oceania's 'Mālama Hawaiʻi' campaign, emphasising caring for and protecting the islands. The videos offer an intimate glimpse of Hawaiian connections to the environment, inspiring viewers to become stewards of this paradise, from swimming with sharks to exploring botanical gardens and learning to surf.
