Southeast Asia maintains attraction with high-end hotel brands

VOV news earlier posted an article that assessed the growth power and attraction of countries in sub-regions of Asia-Pacific.

The article provided report information from Rubix International. Accordingly, hotel occupancy rates in the Asia-Pacific region continue to increase steadily following the reopening of all key markets, flight capacity was increased and the number of conferences and events in the region recovered strongly. Among Asia-Pacific sub-regions, Southeast Asia is showing the most optimistic outlook thanks to strong tourist growth in most markets.

Rubix International assesses that the hotel and resort market in Vietnam is recovering strongly. Lotte has just opened L7 West Lake Hanoi by Lotte hotel with 264 rooms and 192 service apartments. This is the 4th hotel of the L7 Hotels by Lotte brand and the first 5-star hotel operating overseas of L7 Hotels, after 3 establishments in Korea.

Also in the third quarter of 2023, Fusion launched the Ixora Ho Tram by Fusion with 210 rooms, and Accor opened Novotel Living South Saigon hotel with 175 rooms. The 110-room Garrya Mu Cang Chai Resort is managed and operated by Banyan Tree Group and is expected to welcome guests in February 2024. By 2027, Vietnam is expected to welcome more large projects such as MeliĆ” Halong Bay with 542 rooms, U Danang with 200 rooms and InterContinental Thanh Xuan Valley Resort in Vinh Phuc Province with 439 rooms.

Other countries in the Southeast Asia region such as Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Cambodia also joined the assessment list by Rubix International.
