The Royal Shakespeare Company will transfer The Empress to Lyric Hammersmith Theatre from 10 October 2023. The production offers ‘a fresh perspective on Britain’s relationship with its imperial past’.
The Devil Wears Prada
A new musical based on the blockbuster film and bestselling novel The Devil Wears Prada will open at London’s Dominion Theatre in October 2024, following previews at Theatre Royal Plymouth. The musical will feature an original score by Elton John and lyrics by singer-songwriter Shaina Taub.
A Chorus Line
Curve Theatre’s production of A Chorus Line will play a month at London’s Sadler’s Wells from 31 July 2024as part of a UK tour.
Stranger Things: The First Shadow
The musical version of Stranger Things opens at the Phoenix Theatre on 14 December 2023. This new musical adventure will take audiences back to the beginning of the Stranger Things story and hold the key to the end’.
Starlight Express
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express will return to London in summer 2024. The production will be staged in a specially built Starlight Auditorium at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre from 8 June 2024.
