With summer heat of 40 plus degrees across several parts of Europe in 2023, Sweden is looking to offer a cooler alternative

Sweden offers an array of beaches and coastal areas along with inland lakes.

There are also some 270,000 islands, the most of any nation according to worldatlas.com, with nearly 38% of these found in the seas surrounding Sweden and most forming island archipelagos or groups of islands.

These archipelagos are characterised by untouched nature and islands with few inhabitants.
