The Customs Building, Deauville
The Customs House, located at the north-eastern end of the Touques peninsula in Deauville, is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the seaside resort.
Built between 1861 and 1866, and back then the Customs Barracks, the initial house comprised offices for customs officers on the ground floor and accommodation in the upper parts.
Pierre & Vacances has protected and restored the building while highlighting its 19th century architectural heritage.
