The five-star Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech, located 20- minutes drive from the Medina, has launched a new tennis partnership with Tennis LUX that highlights the hotels four clay tennis courts.
It offers 134 opulent rooms, suites and villas overlooking landscaped gardens and with i views towards the snow-capped Atlas Mountains.
There are six restaurants and bars offering local, seasonal and international cuisine, a 2,000 sqm pool (the largest in Marrakech), and a Kids' Club, considered the largest in Morocco.
The Golf & Country Club includes an 18-hole golf course, and The Farm grows its own vegetables, herbs, olives and orangs.
Marrakesh, a former imperial city in western Morocco has a wealth of mosques, palaces and gardens.
Its medina is a densely packed, walled medieval city dating to the Berber Empire, with mazelike alleys where thriving souks (marketplaces) selling traditional textiles, pottery and jewelry.
There is also the Moorish minaret of 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque.
