In the fall, HOSHINOYA Fuji’s Cloud Terrace hosts a special dinner where guests can enjoy seasonal cuisine paired with Yamanashi wine.
Set against an awe-inspiring backdrop of yellow leaves, diners will have a chance to try vintage wines from a Katsunuma brewery which pairs perfectly with the umami of game meat.
Wine enthusiasts will particularly appreciate this pairing as they discover the native grape varieties Koshu and Muscat Bailey A.
They will also learn about the history behind the Yamanashi Prefecture, the birthplace of wine production in Japan going back to the early Meiji period.
