AlmaLusa Alfama to open in Lisbon

AlmaLusa Hotels, the Portuguese hotel group, will open the AlmaLusa Alfama, its third hotel in September 2023. 

The 25-room property will be located in Campo das Cebolas square, in the heart of Lisbon. 

This is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Lisbon, with winding streets, 12th century buildings and panoramic viewpoints (known as Miradouros). 

The hotel itself will combines elements of 12th century architecture with a contemporary, Mediterranean flair. Guests can dine at the sister property, AlmaLusa Baixa/Chiado, a short walk away. 

The third property in the portfolio is the AlmaLusa Comporta, which opened in November 2022 and is located on the Tróia Peninsula, an 80 minutes’ drive away. 

This area is surrounded by rolling rice fields, pine forests and stretches of white sandy coastline.
