Did you know that catching fireworks is part of the summer culture in Japan?

The annual Sumidagawa Fireworks this summer were held on 29th July, 7pm!

The Sumidagawa Fireworks Festival held at Sumida River in Tokyo is one of Japan's leading fireworks festivals.

It attracts close to 900,000 spectators each year!

The surrounding area, including Tokyo Skytree, is lit up by the gorgeous display of fireworks!

For an even more special way of experiencing the festival, make advance seat reservations for a yakatabune (traditional boathouse), where you can enjoy a meal while viewing the fireworks.
