Among the signature new suites includes The St. David's Park Suite, the crowning jewel of The Tasman's heritage building, and the epitome of the heritage character of the hotel overlooking St David's Park. The lofty ceiling, crafted from Baltic Pine originally used as ballast for the first tall ships arriving into Hobart, takes the form of an inverted boat hull, creating a dramatic sense of grandeur in the room. Warmed by the heritage fireplace, the spacious suite features exposed sandstone walls with carefully curated original artwork and a handcrafted Tasmanian blackwood timber bath.

Meanwhile, The Pavilion Suites offer a sensory impact on arrival. The expanse of these two corner suites reflect panoramic views across Hobart's historic waterfront to the River Derwent. Unique to Hobart, the hotel acts as an anchor for the new public domain of Parliament Square, a great ensemble of heritage buildings restored and reimagined, while presenting a striking modern architectural statement to the rising topography of Sullivan's Cove and marking a new era in the historical fabric of the city. The hotel's heritage corridors take guests on a historical journey dating back almost one hundred and fifty years. Featuring vaulted doors and original sandstone walls adorned with pieces from local artists that transform these old halls into an art gallery experience.
