In 1971, Andre Jordan was in Portugal in search of an invest in and found the 300-year old property near the Ludo nature trail.
He developed the property with lowrise residences, restaurants and golf courses.
In 2021, the resort created its own farm last year to provide its restaurants with homegrown organic produce
