The camp will work towards protecting and restoring the lush cloud forests that surround it through reforestation.
The flowering shrubs and local varieties of fruit trees attract hummingbirds and toucans, which visitors will be able to spot from their camps each morning which also offers private bathrooms and hot water showers.
Silverio, the owner of the land is also one of the few registered Andean healers and the camp grows medical herbs in its garden, so guest can learn about the science behind traditional medicine.
