The 250-year-old Carpenters Arms in Great Wilbraham has reopened following a major refurbishment

The traditional village pub has been transformed with the incorporating of an old stable into the building as the new open kitchen. 

The history of the building is reflected in the exposed beams, warm oaks and open fires, paired with bold modern prints. 

Along with restoring the restaurant and pub, the four onsite bedrooms have also been newly decorated with dogs welcomed. 

The Carpenters Arms part of the Chestnut's collection of pubs, inns and restaurants.

 Northgate in Bury St Edmunds 
 Black Lion in Long Melford 
 Westleton Crown in Westleton 
 Ship at Dunwich

 Weeping Willow in Barrow
 Three Blackbirds in Woodditton 
 Crown in Stoke-by-Nayland  Cricketers in Clavering 
 Globe Inn in Wells Next-theSea  Feathers in Holt, and 
 Maltings in Weybourne.
