‘Bucket List Travel to Australia’ |
The brand-new reality series, titled ‘Bucket List Travel to Australia’, could generate up to $40 million in publicity for Queensland destinations, airing to South Korea’s near 52 million residents.
South Korea was Queensland’s sixth largest visitor country by spend before the pandemic, delivering $250 million per year for the visitor economy and bringing 74,000 travellers in 2019.
The initiative is a partnership between TEQ, Tourism Australia, Brisbane Economic Development Agency, Destination Gold Coast and Tourism Tropical North Queensland.
The announcement comes as ‘Team Queensland’ (pictured above) complete a five-day trade mission in South Korea and Japan, promoting the state to key distribution partners and international stakeholders. Find out more about the Korean market below.
