From Auckland to Noosa: The Sweet Life Beckons This Winter

The Sweet Life in Noosa
Noosa Launches 2025 Winter Campaign with Trans-Tasman Flair

Tourism Noosa has unveiled its 2025 Winter Campaign, extending its successful “The Sweet Life in Noosa” platform across the Tasman. With a focus on enticing both Australian and New Zealand travellers, the campaign positions Noosa as the ultimate warm-weather escape for winter 2025.

Celebrating Noosa’s unique blend of nature, luxury and lifestyle, the campaign brings a fresh spotlight to the destination’s relaxed elegance and laid-back charm, just in time for the cooler months.

A Winter Invitation to Indulgence and Adventure

At the heart of the campaign is a visually rich 60-second destination video that encapsulates Noosa’s signature appeal. From beachside breakfasts and river cruises to hinterland hikes and sunset cocktails, the video offers a vibrant snapshot of what it means to live The Sweet Life in Noosa—even in winter.

The content captures not just the beauty of Noosa’s beaches and national parks, but also its high-end stays, culinary experiences and community spirit. The video sets the tone for a season that blends exploration and indulgence, comfort and discovery.

Strategic Reach Across Australia and New Zealand

Tourism Noosa's Destination Marketing Manager, Helen Mitchell, said the campaign was designed to ensure Noosa is front of mind for high-value travellers from across Australia and New Zealand during winter.

“This campaign allows us to showcase Noosa to high-value audiences in our core markets of New South Wales, Victoria, South-East Queensland and New Zealand through impactful content and partnerships across digital, print and television,” said Mitchell.

Campaign highlights include:
  • A national print and digital partnership with Australian Traveller magazine
  • Widespread newspaper features via Explore, running across 14 regional papers in NSW, VIC, TAS and ACT
  • A collaborative video campaign with The Urban List targeting key city dwellers
  • A dedicated Noosa feature filmed for Channel Seven’s The Weekender
  • Television and streaming ads through Nine Now
  • Full digital and social integration via Visit Noosa’s platforms

New Zealand in Focus with Jetstar and Sunshine Coast Airport

A notable innovation this year is the joint trans-Tasman marketing push involving Sunshine Coast Airport, Tourism Noosa and Jetstar. New Zealand travellers will experience a unique “Sweet Life” moment before they even land, with branded overhead locker takeovers aboard a Jetstar A320 aircraft operating between Auckland and the Sunshine Coast.

Noosa’s growing appeal to New Zealand visitors is underpinned by the ease of year-round direct flights from Auckland, offering sun-seekers a direct line to their next tropical getaway.

Plan Your Escape to the Sunshine Coast

The 2025 winter campaign is live from May, targeting those planning their seasonal getaways with a curated message: winter doesn’t have to be cold. In Noosa, it can be sunny, stylish and soul-nourishing.
