AIME 2025: A Game-Changer for the Asia Pacific Business Events Industry

Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) 2025
The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) 2025 has set a new benchmark in the business events sector, generating a remarkable $400 million (AUD) in business transactions between exhibitors and buyers. This impressive figure represents a 21% increase compared to AIME 2024, showcasing the growing importance and influence of this event within the region.

A Record-Breaking Event at Melbourne's MCEC

Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from February 10-12, AIME 2025 saw unprecedented participation. With over 675 exhibiting organizations, 640 hosted buyers, and more than 4500 attendees from across the globe, the event solidified its position as the premier event for the business events community in Asia Pacific. AIME's largest show to date set new records not only in terms of size but also in the volume of business generated on the floor.

This success story was made possible through the partnership between Talk2 Media & Events and the Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB). Talk2 Media & Events, which has managed AIME on behalf of MCB since 2019, has now been re-appointed to continue delivering AIME events through to AIME 2028.

Strong Growth and Future Prospects

Matt Pearce, CEO of Talk2 Media & Events, expressed his excitement about the event's success, stating, "AIME 2025 surpassed all expectations. The extension of our contract with MCB is a testament to our team's ability to deliver exceptional events. We are committed to building on this momentum and continuing to innovate, ensuring even more impactful AIME events in the years to come."

MCB CEO Julia Swanson also expressed her delight, saying, "MCB is thrilled to see AIME continue to grow, producing positive impacts for the business events industry. We look forward to more years of AIME providing a platform for building connections and sharing knowledge right here in Australia’s events capital."

"This success is a testament to the unwavering support of the global business events community, our partners, and sponsors. Their collaboration is essential in enabling us to deliver a world-class event that drives growth and innovation."

With strong demand already building for AIME 2026, the event’s future looks brighter than ever. "Exhibitors and buyers continue to recognize the unparalleled opportunities AIME provides for business development, networking, and learning," Calder added.

Looking Ahead: AIME 2026

AIME 2026 is set to be another milestone event, taking place from February 9-11, 2026, at the MCEC. As the first tradeshow on the international business events calendar, AIME continues to shape the future of business events in the Asia Pacific region.
