From Queensland to Osaka
The game became a real-life sensation in Queensland in 2024, when over 700 fans across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Cairns set a world record for the biggest game of Keepy Uppy. Now, it’s Japan’s turn to join in the fun as the game bounces its way to Osaka.Across the weekend of 26–27 April, families can get involved in the action, taking part in Keepy Uppy sessions at the pavilion. Bluey-themed prizes are also up for grabs, with sessions open to all ages, so parents, don’t be shy!
Throughout the Expo, the Australia Pavilion will be a hub of Bluey-themed fun, packed with events, performances and activities made for families to enjoy together.
- Daily screenings: Bluey o’clock - watch episodes in Japanese in the Australia Pavilion cultural precinct twice daily. Weekend mascot appearances: Come and meet Bluey and Bingo every weekend throughout the Expo!
- Special events: Live cooking, sport, and music collaborations inspired by fan-favourite episodes like Duck Cake, Pavlova, and Cricket.
- Australia’s National Day (3 September 2025): A very special Bluey-themed live music event will take place at the pavilion to celebrate Australia’s National Day.
- Bluey giveaways: Available during special activations throughout the Expo, young ones can get their hands on Bluey ears, enjoy paper crafts, and listen to Bluey’s very own Spotify playlist!
