TOP ARTISTS FOR 2025 TAMWORTH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Toyota 53rd Tamworth Country Music Festival is shaping up to be a spectacular celebration of country music, with an incredible line-up of both legendary and emerging artists. Kicking off on January 17, 2025, this 10-day festival will showcase 200+ performers across the city, with a mix of ticketed and free shows, including the beloved busking sessions on Tamworth's iconic Peel Street.

New Wave of Artists Announced:

Joining the already impressive roster are Beccy Cole, Adam Harvey, Colin Buchanan, Raechel Whitchurch, Brian Cadd, Hurricane Fall, and Aleyce Simmonds, among others. These artists will perform alongside previously announced stars such as Lee Kernaghan, John Williamson, Troy Cassar-Daley, Amber Lawrence, Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, Kasey Chambers, Shane Nicholson, and Travis Collins.

Festival Manager Barry Harley OAM describes the festival as a dynamic celebration of country music's best talent, and with its half-century legacy, it continues to be a vital platform for both seasoned stars and up-and-coming artists.

Key Events and Venues:

• Tamworth Town Hall will host major international showcases, including the NZ Showcase, featuring artists like Zac Griffith and Jaydin Shingleton, and The Ultimate Country & Rock ‘N’ Roll International Spectacular with 21 singers, dancers, and a band.
• The Capitol Theatre will feature a special performance by Colin Buchanan and Raechel Whitchurch, as well as Birds of a Feather with artists like Goldheist, Jane A Naoi, and Amy Vee. Additionally, you can catch Honky Tonk Reboot and Nashville Songwriters In The Round featuring Deric Ruttan, Catherine Britt, and Anthony Snape.
• The Bluebird Room at the Tamworth Community Event Centre will host acts like Jason Carruthers, Michael Waugh, Felicity Dowd, and Brendon Walmsley.
