Wind to Wine Festival

The Wind to Wine Festival returns to the Gambonini family's historic hay barn for an afternoon celebrating wines from the Petaluma Gap appellation. Hosted by the Petaluma Gap Winegrowers Alliance, the event features a grand tasting with over 25 local producers showcasing Sonoma County Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah wines. Against the backdrop of the historic Sonoma Plaza, enjoy a weekend filled with food, wine, and communal festivities. The Dairy Business Innovation Initiative has allocated over $5.87 million in grants, with the California Cheese Trail receiving funds to expand cheese databases and begin Western expansion. A significant $4.78 million is earmarked for equipment investments, supporting dairy industry innovation. Sonoma County businesses like Achadinha Cheese Company and Valley Ford Cheese & Creamery are among the local beneficiaries. Additionally, the Cheese Trail, recognized by the Pacific Coast Coalition, will use its grant to enhance marketing for California cheesemakers and expand into five neighboring states.
