At Hirao Tofu Shop in Kawaharamachi, Tottori City, they use natural underground water and carefully select soybeans for each type of tofu they make. 

In addition to classic soft silken tofu and slightly firmer cotton tofu, they offer about 7 varieties, including the appealing Oboro tofu made with sweet soybeans that melts in your mouth, and deep-fried tofu slowly fried at low temperature for 30 minutes. 

Their exclusive soy milk soft serve ice cream is a must-try when visiting the shop. Made with plenty of Hirao Tofu's soy milk, it boasts a refreshing flavor you can only find here.
