The entire mountain and village have been covered in a thick blanket of fresh white snow, creating magical wintry scenes for guests to wake up to this morning.
The snowstorm rolled in yesterday evening bringing heavy snowfall, blizzard conditions and strong winds.
Last night's snowfall takes Thredbo's total 7-day snowfall count this week to 43cm in total.
Experts forecast that this low-pressure system will continue to bring lots more snow in the coming weeks. Mountain Watch is calling for 82cm over the next 7 days and Snowatch predicts 78cm for the next two weeks.
This significant snowfall is getting skiers and snowboarders excited to shred fresh powder this weekend. The snow conditions are also expected to entice many visitors to plan a last-minute snow trip in the coming weeks.
