Therme Manchester

Manchester Town Hall

Manchester’s impressive 19th Century Town Hall will reopen to the public in the next few years, following an extensive renovation project. Visitors will get access to previously unseen areas, including the Victorian police cells and clocktower with new guided tours on offer.

Co-op Live

Offering 32 bars, restaurants, and lounges across four levels, Co-op Live is set to open as a venue with a focus on live music and entertainment. The project, which is backed by Harry Styles, will host up to 120 live events a year, with capacity for 23,500 fans.

Therme Manchester

The UK’s first city-based wellbeing resort, Therme Manchester will house a next generation waterpark, thermal bathing, and a wellness spa, when it opens next door to the Trafford Centre in the coming years.

Manchester City

Manchester City Football Club will increase capacity at the Etihad Stadium to 60,000 in the next three years, with plans to also add a sky bar with views overlooking the pitch, a stadium roof walk experience, and a 400-bedroom hotel.

Science and Industry Museum

A multi-million-pound restoration program is underway to carry out crucial restoration work on the Power Hall and 1830 Station and Warehouse, and for the first time in 100 years, the Grade I listed Station Agent’s House will open as a truly unique accommodation option for up to eight people thanks to a partnership with the Landmark Trust.

John Rylands Library

The Grade-I listed library undergoing a one-year project that will transform its exhibition spaces. The library, now owned by the University of Manchester, is approaching its 125th anniversary in 2025.
