The annual Barcelona International Jazz Festival celebrates a music tradition in the city for years.
First held over 25 years ago, the festival has stages jazz performances in venues including the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Auditori del Fòrum, the Conservatori del Liceu, and other concert halls.
The festival also offers free concerts, master classes, lectures, and opportunities to meet and interact with the artists.
Beyond the festival, Barcelona's music scene offers a mix of genres from the flamenco in the heart of El Raval to the electronic music in Poblenou.
