We are entering hot hot summer in Japan!

Eating kakigori (shaved ice) is a summer practice in Japan! In Kagoshima Prefecture, one of their local specialties is a type of kakigori called "Shirokuma".

This particular kakigori is covered in condensed milk and topped with a generous amount of fruits.

Fun fact: Shirokuma translates to 'polar bear' in English and the Shirokuma kakigori looks like one from the top!

At Tenmonkan Mujyaki, alongside the usual Shirokuma, they also provide a variety of different flavours and toppings like matcha, yoghurt, and even pudding!
