It boasts a collection of up to 1500 artworks from the Edo period (1603 - 1868) to the 20th century featuring notable artists such as Maruyama Okyo.
However, the aesthetic of the museum reaches out far beyond their interior design and the collection within.
With a visit to the museum's cafe, you can have a different perspective of the Togetsukyo Bridge, a 155m bridge built across the Katsura River.
